We would like to hear from parent carers of children and young people with SEND about your experiences of the transition to secondary school.

Join us for tea, coffee and biscuits to explore:

• Your child's hopes and worries before starting secondary school.
• The support available before and during the transition to secondary school.
• What you and your child found most helpful throughout the transition process.
• How long it took your child to settle into Year 7.
• The factors that were most important in helping your child feel settled at secondary school.
• Any support provided in relation to Emotionally Based School Avoidance (EBSA).
• Advice or recommendations you would give to parents of children currently in Year 6 who are preparing for the move to secondary school.

The discussion will be facilitated by Educational Psychologists from Bexley Local Authority and members of the Bexley Voice team.
