Bexley Voice were recently awarded funding from The National Community Lottery Funding, so that we can offer our members a limited number of 121 information and support sessions for two years.
Thanks to the National Community Lottery Fund we can offer a 45-minute, face-to-face discussion, where we act as a listening ear to enable you to feel heard. We will signpost and share information to empower you to move forward with your SEND issue. We offer simple, step-by-step (or perhaps first step) suggestions for you to consider and a supportive environment for you, whilst waiting for other services. Please see our Safeguarding Policy on our website regarding information sharing.
Bexley Voice provides support, information, signposting and empowers SEND parent carers.
Unfortunately, we do not provide legal advice (see our website for info); provide case work support; sessions will generally not lead to Bexley Voice attending meetings; support with form filling, such as benefits (see our website for info); we are a signposting organisation and do not make referrals; provide advocacy (speaking to people on your behalf, including calling schools on families’ behalf); provide formal document checks or work directly with young people.
Sessions run at 10:00 - 10:45; 11:15 - 12noon; 12:30pm - 1:15pm; 1:45pm - 2:30pm
Dates: Thursday 26 Feb; Thursday 19 March (further dates to follow).
