On 16th June, we welcomed 116 attendees and 84 professionals to our SEND Summer Marketplace event, bringing together families and a wide range of support services in one space.
The day aimed to share information about SEND-inclusive activities over the summer holidays and SEND support available in Bexley.
Feedback from parents has been overwhelmingly positive, with many sharing that they were “blown away” by the variety of information and support on offer.
This event takes a huge amount of effort to deliver, and it would not be possible without the support of our partners and community. Special thanks go to Danson Youth Centre for providing such an inclusive and welcoming space, LECB and Crook Log School for kindly lending tables, and The Carers Partnership for offering additional services and treats to visitors on the day. We are also grateful to Andy Goldsack for capturing the event with some fantastic photos.
