"I originally joined Bexley Voice because I felt like I was on my own in my journey with my daughters and their needs. Through becoming a member, I realised how many of us there are and that I wasn't alone, that having a group of people around you who understand makes so much difference. I felt so supported but also empowered to keep fighting for what my children not only needed but were entitled to!
Because of this invaluable support I really wanted to give back to Bexley Voice and decided that volunteering for them was the best way for me to do this. I really wanted to help lift up and empower other parent carers in the same way that Bexley Voice had done for me and my family."
