Graham began volunteering for Bexley Voice in summer 2019 and joined the Operating Committee shortly afterwards as the Parent Representative for Preparing for Adulthood and became a Trustee in September 2020.

Graham has an adult son who is autistic, has severe learning difficulties and an extreme anxiety disorder. As a result, he has a lot of experience of the challenges parents and carers face with schooling and respite care.

Graham says:

"When my son was transitioning to adulthood, Bexley Voice did not exist and so, as a family, we struggled to find the way through the process. I wanted to be able to support other parents of young people progressing towards adulthood and Bexley Voice was the obvious choice to be able to do this."
